In 2020, he repeated his success by winning his second consecutive all-around title and adding a saddle bronc riding title to his resume. Early Life and Family Background

Stetson Wright was born on October 13, 1998, in Milford, Utah. He is the youngest of seven children of Cody and ShaRee Wright, who are both rodeo legends in their own right. Cody Wright is a two-time world champion saddle bronc rider and a 13-time National Finals Rodeo (NFR) qualifier. ShaRee Wright is a former barrel racer and a rodeo coach.

Stetson Wright grew up in a ranching family that has produced some of the best rodeo athletes in history. His older brothers, Ryder and Rusty, are also world champion saddle bronc riders and NFR qualifiers. His cousins, Spencer and Jake Wright, are also saddle bronc riders who have won world titles and qualified for the NFR multiple times. Stetson Wright started riding horses when he was two years old and competed in his first rodeo when he was four. He learned the ropes from his father and brothers, who taught him how to ride bulls, broncs, and steers. He also participated in other sports such as wrestling, football, and basketball, but rodeo was always his passion.
